The Elim Pentecostal Church Woolwich exists to honour God. Our aim is to lead people into the Presence of God through worship in preparation for hearing God’s Word. We are always pleased to welcome all visitors to our services, and our aim as a friendly Church is to have a relaxed atmosphere, so that we can meet with God and hear what He has to say to us all.

As mentioned in the Bible (Ex 15:27 “Then they came to Elim, where there were twelve springs and seventy palm trees”) Elim is the name of an oasis which signifies a place of refreshment and shelter in the wilderness. It is true that life can sometimes become a wilderness in this day and age too. The aim for our church as a gospel centre is to be that place of refreshment and shelter in this present age. This is found in the word of God.
